As early as 4 AM, depending on your hotel in Kigali city or Kigali International Airport, you will be picked up by our representative/driver guide, who will brief you about your safari experience in Volcanoes National Park before you embark on your Mount Bisoke hike. After the safari experience, you will then embark on your journey to Volcanoes National Park, home to five of the Virunga Mountains in Rwanda: Mount Muhabura, Mount Sabinyo, Mount Gahinga, Mount Karisimbi, and Mount Bisoke, which you will get to climb for a memorable safari experience in Rwanda. On reaching the park, you will embark on hiking Mount Bisoke.
Bisoke hike, which is part of the Virunga mountain ranges shared by Mgahinga National Park in Uganda, Virunga National Park in Congo, and Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. As you hike the mountain, you will have the chance to see a number of attractions in the park, such as the different Albertine endemic species. You will also get to see a number of different primate species.
While hiking, upon reaching the summit, you will discover a beautiful crater lake, and the whole experience is overwhelming! Take pictures to lock in the beautiful moments. After the hike, you will have lunch and transfer to Kigali city, where, time allowing, you will visit the Genocide Museum and later transfer to the airport for your onward flight or be dropped at your hotel in Kigali, marking the end of your Rwanda tour.
